either burts bees or this lip balm i use called Smith's Lip Balm MINTED ROSE (theres another kind but I dont remember what it was called). The lip balm has a little bit of color in it to make your lips look alive and a little gloss to make your lips look fuller so you can wear it not just for regular use, but when you have some makeup on. (great for smokey eyes and the natural look! )


You can buy the Burts Bees at any local drug store for about $3. and the Minted Lip Balm in Sephora and I've seen some in UrbanOutfitters also.. for about $6. The lip balm has more to it than Burts Bees so its really great.


plus other makeup artists recommend it also.

it's one in a gold oval tube by blistex I think... smells like vanilla, totally awesome.
You need something with no menthol in it, it's a temporary fix, and in the long run will make your lips more sensitive and dry out faster.





So you are looking for things like aloe, vitamin E, jojoba oil, and lanolin. Grape seed oil and anything avocado based are also great moisturizers.





Everyone's opinions are different, and you might not like the way one this feels or smells the way someone else does. I like the MAC Lip Conditioner, the one by Kiehls, and the Almay moisture stick.





But, feel, taste and smell are important, so as long as you avoid wax, menthol, and anything with any derivative of alcohol in it, and look for those ingredients, you'll get the results you're looking for.

I recommend softlips vanilla MY FAVE it works great they also have it in cherry i would just try that and if ur not satisfied try some other but that expensive cuz if they dont work ud be wastein ur money ya kno? i hope i helped
i use regular chapstick with beeswax in it (the red one) and it works
