my lips were actually lighter color before--but now they have turned strange purplish color-which makes me look sick-lol...i used a lotta vaseline but that didnt help to keep my lips soft--and they always get dry and flaky...so plz help me out---oh and what does castor oil do to lips?How to make lips lighter and moisturised and soft?
try applying petroleum jelly to you lips using a q-tip. be sure to remove the excess flakes on your lips and then wipe out the excess petoleum jelly. after that, put a lip balm such as vaseline lip theraphy or body shop's utra care, or Burt's Bees lipbalm or Burt's Bees Beeswax Lipbalm(the Burt's Bees products are tried and tested)

well i don't know about color, but Bert's bee's lip balm is what i use for chapped dry and rough lips. plus it smells great :]
and sorry, i don't know about castor oil.

I use Burts Bee's as well. Works great! You can find it at any drugstore or pharmacy. It is about $1 - $4. Hope this helps!
