Soft lips in the winter?

What is something that will give me soft lips? Any home remedies? What are good products to make my lips nicer?Soft lips in the winter?
rub vasiline on your lips, a LOT of it. run cool water on a toothbrush and rub it on your lips. after like 10 seconds, and wipe off your lips. Then just put some vasiline on your lips because it works a whole lot better than chapstick for moisture!

if you dont have any vasiline on hand you can always use lip balm or olive oil. All of them work. Heres another recipie too!

Put a teaspoon of brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of milk in a small bowl. Mix them together. And if you have vitiman e in your house, pierce three of the capsels. rub it on your lips with your fingers for like 10 seconds and let it sit for another 10. rinse it off with cool water and put on some lip balm.

also, and thing by blistex works like a miracle!! Soft lips is very good too! You can get it at any drugstore/ walmart.Soft lips in the winter?
chapstick three times a day
Vasilien works the best.
use mary kay product for sotf lip its better
i usually AM NOT a Mary Kay person at all... However they have a line of products called satin lips and satin hands and body. They come with a scrub which is like a moisturizing gritty type of thing for your lips to exfoliate them and then the most satiny delightful moisturizer I HAVE EVR USED MMMMmmm so soft!
Many people become addicted to chapstik. Withdrawal symptoms are horribly cracked and bleeding lips. It's good once in a while, when your lips are actually chapped. For daily use, it'll mess your lips up.

Try using a humidifier at home. Not directly on your face; just keep it in the room you spend the most time in. And go easy on lipstick and/or other makeup. Be nice to your skin.
Use a baby toothbrush on your lips to get rid of any dry flaky bits and then use Nivea lip balm or burts bees.
My lips used to be so dry that they would start bleeding. Now, my lips are very soft and moisturized. If you ALREADY have dry, rough, lips, then I recommend you using blistex for faster recovery. I used: http://www.glow.ca/Glow/GlowDocs.nsf/Ima鈥?/a> After your lips are recovered, try putting on chapstick. I put it on every night I go to sleep since I used to always wake up with dry lips. Other than that, try not putting on lip gloss that has too much coverage since THAT might also dry up your lips. Hope this helps ^_^.
Crisco is good for chapped lips. really.
i love chapstick(the brand chapstick) moisturizer not the normal kind. It's in the blue tube. If there really bad u could put some vaseline on them before you go to bed.
I've been using the Aquafina chapstick.

It actually works very well.

It keeps your lips feeling refreshed

and keeps them soft.
i would use burt's bees. they're the best! =)
Don't lick your lips outdoors.
USE VASELINE!!!!! and one thing use musturd oil in the middle of your stomach(in hindi we call it Naabhi); it will relliy help you!!! trust me
any sort of natural colored chapstick really works great. you wouldn't think that it would look so good i mean you know its to make lips less chapped but it can actually be quite the look. something about it always makes my lips look so good. they turn lightish pink and they looks smooth and a little glossy.

but my home makeup tip for this is well first--

exfoliate your lips! that will get the dead skin and chapped part gone! so it can be nice and fresh for your lip gloss or whatever you are going to be putting on. i have some stuff from Aloette and it is great. it is called Sooth n Smooth

http://www.aloette.com/Makeup/Lips/Sooth鈥?/a>

its right there and i promise you it is well worth the money. you might not even need any thing on your lips after you do this becaues it makes them so soft and its got lip balm on the bottom! your lips feel really fresh after it

okay and second this is going to sound totally CRAZY but i promise you it works..

Take some vasoline (which works really good by itself as lip balm too) and take some old blush that you won't mind messing up a little

then take a coin , penny nickle dime whichever

scrape the blush up with the coin onto a tabletop or something you can mix with then blend the blush with the vasoline. it works really good! because you get the same effect i was saying earlier with the vasoline but you also get a nice pink color! basically making your own colored lip balm! so go try that and see if that works!

hope i helped :) have a good dayyyyyy!
Put cacao butter every night. It is wonderful.
Some tips to think about:

1) Chapped lips can be a dehydration problem, so drink some extra water.

2) To get the dry skin off don't pick or bite at it. Use a soft bristle tooth brush and massage the bristles over your lips gently. This will exfoliate your lips.

3) Then use a good healing product like Burt's bee or Bodyography has a great lip treatment line. The night repair is magic, it heals over night 90% of the time.
burts bees or soft lips
There are a couple of home remedies:

1) Brush your lips gently with a toothbrush to exfoliate them if there is any dry skin present. Your lips will feel smoother and softer.

2) Apply a layer of vaseline overnight.

3) Use a lipgloss or moisturising lipstick during the day.

4) There are several lip treatment kits available on the market today including Laura Mercier Lip Treatment Kit, $28 (see here: http://www.lauramercier.com/products/col鈥?/a> ) and Sally Hansen Healing Butter, $6 (see here: http://www.sallyhansen.com/product.cfm?p鈥?/a> ).

Hope this helps :)
chapstick!!
i've always put vaseline on my lips at nighttime in the winter...always seems to work.My best friend swear by olive oil at nighttime..but i dont like the taste of it
Just put an effective lip balm on before you go to bed, before you go outside, and after you eat. That's all you can do.
Vaseline at night, Chap Stick (the brand) during the day.

I am 24, I have tried everything under the sun...these seem to work the best and they are extremely simple. The Cherry and Strawberry Chap Sticks have a bit of tint to them but if you want more just put your lipstick on over it.
Sally Hansen's stuff.I use one thats got lip conditoner on one end and a gloss on the other end.Its the best my lips have ever felt. They never chap now.Hope this helps.Plus their 24 hour lip treatment is really good if you dont want the gloss.
